Islam, America, and Religious Freedom

Islam is an un-American religion.

Ever since the horror of 9-11, Islam has been a highly charged topic.  Anything involving the death by immolation and defenestration of three thousand innocent office workers, to say nothing of watching kidnapped journalists getting their heads chopped off on TV or doctors machine-gunned on a mercy mission for being non-Muslim, is bound to be deeply emotional; at the same time, religious liberty has been one of the United States' most deeply held foundational beliefs since long before its founding.

Indeed, on the specific subject of Islam, none other than Thomas Jefferson regarded Virginia's 1786 Statute for Religious Freedom as being intended

... to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mahomedan, the Hindoo, and Infidel of every denomination. [emphasis added]

So there you have it: Religious liberty applies equally to Muslims as to anyone else.  Right?

No.  It doesn't, and cannot, for a very good reason that Jefferson didn't fully understand in 1786 but was forcibly made aware of later in life:  Islam as an organized religion and Muslims in particular do not accept religious liberty.

Freedom to Disagree

The precise definition of what religion is can be a little slippery, but one defining characteristic is that religions deal with the intangible, the immortal, and the invisible.  God or gods rarely walk the earth shaking hands or signing autographs; generally you have to take their existence on faith.  Reward and punishment for one's good or evil deeds is never guaranteed on this earth in this life; the balance is meted out in judgment after death, or sometimes in reincarnation as someone or something else.

The need for an unprovable afterlife of some kind is pretty obvious: this life manifestly does not provide justice.  We all know honest, decent people who live unfortunate lives of poverty and ill health; we all know of evil, wicked people living lives of wealth and power, many of them in Congress or the Senate and at least a few on the Supreme Court.

Is this fair?  No religious ethical system believes it to be so; all proclaim that necessary adjustments will be made after we're dead.

Trouble arises because the precise definitions and rules differ.  Fundamentalist Protestants believe that individual, personal faith is the key deciding factor; a good and decent person who rejects Jesus Christ will wind up in Hell, whereas a debauched murderer like the Thief on the Cross next to Jesus can accept Him at the last possible second and skin into Heaven without doing one single good deed in his life.

Catholics, on the other hand, require good deeds from everyone or penance in Purgatory; Unitarians believe everyone goes to Heaven regardless.  The differences become wider the further away you get from Judeo-Christian tradition.

By definition, none of these systems can be proven right or wrong, but they can't all be right; most are pretty much mutually exclusive.  Either there is a Hell or there is not; either there is one God, several, or none.

Throughout history, national leaders have often tried to decree what their subjects' religion shall be, like it or not.  This has led to more wars and fiercer ones than almost any other cause.  If you truly think you'll burn for eternity in Hellfire, no power on earth can make you change your mind, and if someone's going to kill you for it you may as well fight back.

Our Founding Fathers promoted a simple solution to this problem: stop trying to force people to change what they believe.  Persuade, sure; beseech, picket, beg, preach.  But nothing more.  They recognized that each individual person must have full freedom of conscience - otherwise, religious-based civil strife is inevitable.

From those days to now, America has suffered many disagreements but almost no violent religious ones.  So long as each religion does its own thing and lets others do the same, we all get along and nobody much minds.

Which is precisely the problem with Islam: By its core beliefs, it cannot and will not leave non-Muslims alone.

The Right to Be Wrong

What characterizes the religious life of Islamic countries?  The answer is expressed by the very name "Islamic countries" - they are called that because there is almost nothing else there.  Preaching any religion other than Islam is forbidden in Saudi Arabia, Iran, and others; Malaysia prohibits non-Islamic religions from using their language's word for "God", and forbids anyone to leave Islam once they're in regardless of changed beliefs.  Virtually every nation with a Muslim majority has an overwhelming majority, with other religions restricted to secretive and heavily-suppressed practice at best.

This is the difference between Islam and everything else: all other religions may consider nonbelievers to be wrong and under the wrath of God, but they acknowledge the right of every individual to make that choice.

Christian churches may expel apostates and pray for their souls, but they don't try to drag them back by force.

In bygone centuries Catholics used to, but recent Popes have abjectly apologized for those past sins and no modern Catholic from the Pope on down would countenance such behavior for a moment.

Jews, of course, have always recognized the legitimate existence of non-Jews, seeing as being born a Jew is practically the only way to become one.  Buddhists might figure you'll be reincarnated as a mosquito, but that's not their problem, it's yours.

As we have extensively documented, Islam accepts no such right of belief.  Islam claims not merely the right but the obligation to force people into submission to the will of Allah - whether it be by conversion or by subservient dhimmitude, whichever is most feasible at the moment.

In what way is religious liberty preserved by allowing a religion whose whole purpose is to destroy everyone else's religious liberty?  Americans have freedom of movement, but we put people in jail when they violate others' rights.  Americans have the right to bear arms, but not the right to shoot people they don't like.  Americans have the free-speech right to say that someone else is wrong, but not (generally) the right to physically force them to shut up.

We talk of American liberties, but they all have their limits.  As the saying goes, "My freedom to swing my arms stops at the end of your nose."

Exactly the same is true for religion.  To be a religion acceptable in America, it doesn't matter what you believe or teach so long as you fully accept one simple doctrine:

You must acknowledge other people's right to be wrong and to go to Hell in their own way and in God's own time.

You, the religious holy-roller going to paradise, can do nothing about it other than argue with them and try to persuade them to change.

If you accept this principle, then you are a religion acceptable in the United States with all the rights and privileges pertaining thereto.

If you cannot accept that principle, however, if your religion requires you to force others to convert, then you are no religion, at least not in the American sense.  Instead, you are the subject of an enemy power dedicated to the destruction of the rights contained in the Constitution (by definition) and should be treated as such.

Devout Muslim = Devoted Traitor

All religious people claim allegiance to a Higher Power of some sort, whether it be God or the Universal Force.  When the commands of that Higher Power directly are dedicated to the destruction of the nation in which that person lives, though, what is that person other than a traitor?

Nazism was an ideology dedicated to the destruction of American freedom.  True-blue Nazis swore allegiance to Adolf Hitler.

When Hitler declared war on the United States, how could it be possible for a Nazi to be a loyal American?  It couldn't - you had to choose one or the other.

Dedicated Communists, by the definition of Karl Marx, are committed to the worker's revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat.  By Marx's explanation, this inherently involves the violent overthrow of the state; by definition that is treason, and we treated active Communists as the traitors they were during the Cold War.

How are devout Muslims any different?  They swear loyalty to an external Higher Power (Allah) as all religious do, but that particular Higher Power has given specific commands that are a clear and present danger to American domestic peace and stability.

Seen in this light, the 9-11 Mosque is not just a place of worship for a religion.  It is a training ground for enemy soldiers.

Would we allow a Nazi training camp in Idaho?  Oh, that's right - we don't.

Are there devout Muslims who are also loyal Americans?  Well, were there Nazis who were also loyal Americans in 1942?  No - any American who had Nazi sympathies had to make a choice and fast.

Someday Islam may mature to the point where it acknowledges the separation of church and state and the right of other (evil, wicked, Allah-defying) religions to exist.  Then, and only then, can Muslims and their mosques be welcomed into a free country.

Until then, we need to remember what Thomas Jefferson wrote, not that long after his remarks on religious freedom, about the explanation of the Muslim Tripolitan ambassador when asked by what right his Muslim nation captured and enslaved American sailors on the high seas:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise. [emphasis added]

As long as the religion of Islam believes this, the religion of Islam is an enemy, and anyone who holds to its evil creed is the subject of an enemy power and a traitor.

Muslims who feel otherwise need to say so, loudly - not just with their words but with their actions.  It's time and past time for a Muslim Reformation - but really what it needs is a total split between those who, like the Catholic Inquisition, feel barbarism and oppression to be their religious duty, and those who don't.

Until then, only a fool would give the inspiration, source, and driving force behind suicide bombers the benefit of the doubt, much less the slightest toehold on our soil. Unfortunately, we have a government of fools.

'No.It doesn't, and cannot, for a very good reason that Jefferson didn't fully understand in 1786 but was forcibly made aware of later in life: Islam as an organized religion and Muslims in particular do not accept religious liberty.'
The level of religious liberty which Islam provides has never been provided by any other religion. But the issue under the present scenario is not religions but countries like USA,Israel,UK,Russia,India,Pakistan,Afghanistan,Iraq,Iran,Sudan,Indoneshia,Chachenya etc. Those who have read Quran with no bias or mental blockades know that Islam is an updated religion, including all revelations on Prophet Hazrat Musa PBUH and Prophet Isa PBUH . If USA ,under the political pressure of Jewish lobby does not help Israel to kill Palestinians and help a judicious solution to the basic root cause; does not invade Iraq on wrong perception of presence of WMD( for use against Israel);does not leave Afghanistan, after fighting out Russia with the help of Pakistan and Al Qaida (Osama included),handing over war devastated land to war lords, who are later dominated by the oppressed masses (Taliban) with the help of Al Qaida and Pakistan( Army and Public, looking for their own safe future),plating Al-Qaida with the role of guardianship of all oppressed Muslims ( the only oppressed species except few non Muslims in East Timor or in Dafur, Sudan & for whom even UN is very effective ) all over the world; does not look for invading Iran, simply with the perception that an Iranian atomic bomb is directed towards against, again Israel(WHEN THEY HAVE TOO),I am sure USA will be a heaven on earth for living and enjoying by Americans and doing their odd jobs by non Americans, including Muslims.

'We all know honest, decent people who live unfortunate lives of poverty and ill health; all we know of evil, wicked people living lives of wealth and power, many of them in Congress or the Senate and at least a few on the Supreme Court' (but naturally, all Jews by birth.)

'Which is precisely the problem with Islam: By its core beliefs, it cannot and will not leave non-Muslims alone.' Wrong perception. Travel back to 540-563 AD to Mecca and see the Jews living peacefully, enjoying full freedom with Muslims. Muslims have to follow the same practices; that's part of their religion.

'Jews, of course, have always recognized the legitimate existence of non-Jews,'( Except in Palestine)

'we have a government of fools.' You mean government of the people, by the people,... for the fools? No. Your present government is most sensible, its at least trying to bring balance and hence peace-the most desired commodity today.

Islam is a totalitarian political ideology masquerading as a religion. We should not allow Muslims to immigrate to the US.

The dog's breakfast Mr Puri just served up is not fit for pigs, let alone dogs.
He uses the third-world mentality template to explain away all the ills that have befallen the world. And the most famous cop-out of all is his assertion that Israel lies at the root of every disaster from 9-11 to Hurricane Katerina and beyond.
Iraqi Sunnis have made a sport of blowing up Sh'ias, and it's because of Israel.
Iraqi Sh'ias retaliate because of, naturally, Israel.
Pakistani Sunnis routinely murder Sh'ias and Christians whenever they can...it's Israel's fault, you see.
Before Darfur, Muslim Africans waged a war of extermination against non-Muslim Blacks. Again, Israel is to blame. Now, Muslim Sudanese are murdering Muslim Sudanese in Darfur. Yes, Israel is at the bottom of it all.
As anyone with a modicum of commonsense will see, Islamic countries are the most miserable places on earth. Israel, a country with a population of six million people, somehow inflicted that misery, according to Puri.
Mr Puri probably lives in America. If so, he voted with his feet for the better system. Some call it talking out of both sides of your mouth.
I guess if Israel didn't exist, he'd never have left the paradise on earth he grew up in.

@Puri

He has neglected to mention the key Muslim concept of dhimmitude:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States. Muslims may be specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims may be specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient.

So I John Smith, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, cars and etc. And even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance at our expence. Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. Period. This is Dhimmitude.

Dhimmitude serves two purposes: it enriches the Muslim masters AND serves to drive conversions to Islam. In this case, the incentive to convert to Islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well as the godless Generation X, Y and Z types who have no moral anchor or belief in God! If you don't believe in Christ to begin with, it is no problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. "Sure, I'll be a Muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign, brother?" Now all you Obama voters get in line for your free stuff!...However, I suggest you don't hold your breath!...

Wow -- a secret cabal of Jews controlling the Supreme Court? Obamacare is REALLY the work of our Islamic puppet masters trying to convert the US to Shari'a law?

The loons are out in full force on this one. May I submit that while Zionist Jews no doubt do have a not insignificant amount of political power in the US, what power they have pales in comparison to that of the conservative Christians, who are more Zionist than the average American who self-identifies as Jewish.

As for the article, I'm confused about what the author is actually proposing. Shall we ban all practice of Islam in the US? Really? Shall we take a walk down History Lane for examples of where THAT sort of thing leads?

Not quite, Werebat. We should treat Islam exactly as we treated Nazis during WWII and Communists during the Cold War.

- Absolutely no immigration of them permitted. Non-citizens holding to these beliefs expelled. No court action necessary or permitted; a nation has an absolute right to control which foreigners are allowed in the country.

- Citizens with those beliefs watched very closely, and arrested the moment any signs of action or plots appeared, knowing that they were mentally our enemies. Of course, as citizens they are entitled to the full rights of a fair trial by jury.

In theory, a non-violent and non-aggressive form of Islam would be perfectly welcome. In practice, unfortunately, Islam has the doctrine of "holy lying" which makes it OK to deceive infidels, so it's extremely hard to tell who is really non-violent and who is faking.
August 14, 2010 11:25 AM
Dear Mr. Karl Ketzer,You are absolutely right. Presently all religions are in the same boat; are being used as political ideologies rather than practicing codes by their protectors. It's a pity. Look at the Ten Commandments, who is practicing? All hypocrisy; it appears Christianity & Judaism, both together are fighting in continuation, the crusade war against Islam. The gulf between preaching and practicing will take the mankind (Including womankind) to Dooms day and to hell, no forgiveness, for granted or through prayers.

. 'We should not allow Muslims to immigrate to the US'. Fine! Provided you do not interfere in the affairs of Muslim world. You don't come to them, they won't come to you. You don't send bombs to them they won't send suicide bombers to you.
August 22, 2010 4:56 PM
.Dear Mr.Infidel_Pete, I never meant that my brothers & sisters (Hazrat Adam's PBUH descendants) will be so hurt and disturbed that they will go to that level of indecency. Never mind, the breakfast I am trying to prepare is for Americans and none else.In an effort to make my message home, I would request them only to confine to the basic issue and causes of the issue. The basic issue under deliberations is why USA (as a country) is being focused by Islamic 'fundamentalists' (You call them' Al Qaeda', 'Taliban', 'Terrorist' or Muslims ) for their negative activities. The cause is USA's unconditional, moral, political, financial, material support to Israel for its aggression & subjugation against Palestinians Muslims (Ref. Nurit Peled - Elhanan, an Israeli woman addressing European Parliament on International Women Day in June this year ), to whom the 'Illegal, illegitimate State of Israel' has externed from their lands/country. There is no second opinion that Israel has a great influence on the politics as usual in America and even Americans(Christians) have started objecting to the severe distortion that Israel's behavior and presumption have inflicted for far too long on the politics of USA.

You may label it 'The Third world mentality template' but the ground reality cannot be denied. What threats so called WMD with Iraq or with Iran pose to the Security or safety of USA? Why Israel is not forced to accept nuclear free Middle East? Latest gestures of warning (?) Israel to stop building new settlements and arranging direct talks with Palestinians speaks of the change, I am talking out from the centre of my mouth, not for that I am not living in America but for it is a fact that your Black (conceivably, his only fault) President is for the CHANGE he promised & is trying to do something positive & concrete for the peace on this planet.

Though Israel exists (Personally I believe it has a right to exist, But..) and to your utter surprise Mr. Infidel, though I am fighting with pen for our liberty, I tell you that we even now are living in paradise on earth- Hundred times better than what you are enjoying(?),especially in Israel.
I am a hydro power consultant ,who travels for feasibilities of sites in the mountains of Kashmir, a Muslim State fighting for her independence from India & Pakistan; the only amicable solution for all the three parties i.e., Indo,Pak & Kashmir; looking for carving a Switzerland in Asia, with UNO's office in Srinagar; maintaining good relations with all its neighbors. If India fulfils her commitment of plebiscite and Pakistan facing the ground reality accepts the result of that plebiscite, there is a general perception that more than 70% Muslim population will opt for independence from both the 'cats'. When we fight against hostility, coercion and intimidation of Indian military, we are labeled as 'Terrorists' by the international media including yours. Pakistani side of Kashmir is also treated like a colony by Pak bureaucracy & military. Infrastructural development is far less comparing with Pak areas. We feel that USA, the only super power in the world, has a moral duty to ensure that such like oppressions, aggressions and disparities should be removed from this planet for the sake of peace-it's as well as ours.

SCIENTIFIC AWARENESS OF REINCARNATION : BASES FOR A NEW UNIVERSAL RELIGION

According to Dr. Granville Dharmawardena of Colombo University reincarnation may be defined as the re-embodiment of an immaterial part of a person after a short or a long interval after death, in a new body whence it proceeds to lead a new life in the new body more or less unconscious of its past existences, but containing within itself the "essence" of the results of its past lives, which experience goes to make up its new character or personality.
In the seventeenth century Rene Descartes divided everything in the universe into two realms as "Res Extensa" (matter) and "Res Cogitans" (mind). Gathering knowledge within the realm of Res Extensa was called Science and the phenomenon of reincarnation got pushed into the other realm Res Cogitans which was not considered suitable for scientific probing. Science developed in the framework of Res Estensa is known as "Classical Science". Classical science had tremendous material achievements because it helped all round growth of technology which brought about prosperity to mankind. The air of frame work of Classical Science was blown out by Henry Becquerel in 1896 by the discovery of Radioactivity. The discovery of Theory of Relativity by Albert Einstein in early 20th Century gave it further blow. The advent of Quantum Theory and the Uncertainty Principle did the rest. It is significant to note that Einstein's discovery fall entirely within the frame work of Res Cogitans as it did not involve any experiments or measurements. Gravitation Force Theory of Newton is also an example of such observation and intuition work involving no experiments and measurements.

Modern Science enhanced man's knowledge surpassing the restrictions imposed by the five senses and took us to hidden areas of nature and profound changes had been introduced in procedures of science. Our ability to understand everything by way of perceptible mental pictures is reduced and it became necessary to imagine models with components which behaved in ways that had no counterparts at all in the world familiar to us. In most cases mechanisms involved in these models not only are imperceptible but also consist of elements that operate in ways never known in the world that we actually experience through sensory inputs.
Modern science tied up the two realms, Res Extensa and Res Cogitans and made us to understand that they are not independent and cannot be completely studied independently. Within the establishment of modern science some of the aspects of nature that did not strictly adhere to the realm of Res Extensa, which were therefore earlier condemned as unbecoming of scientists to talk about have become respectable. Reincarnation falls into this category
Reincarnation is a very old belief and a large fraction of the world population believes it. For example Rene Descartes' statement "What I have said is sufficient to show clearly enough that the extinction of the mind does not follow from the corruption of the body and also to give men the hope of another life after death" in 1641 confirms his belief in reincarnation. About 20 percent of those in the Western World whose religions shun reincarnation nevertheless believe it. According to opinion polls this percentage is rising.
Lisa Miller, Religion Editor of Newsweek says that Americans are becoming more Hindus. According to 2008 Harris Poll 24% of Americans say they believe in reincarnation
Steven J Rosen writes in The Reincarnation Controversy, Uncovering the Truth in World Religions (New Age Books) that belief in reincarnation allows us to see ourselves as architects of our own future. Rosen raises certain queries,' what is it that reincarnates from one body to another? Is it the soul? the mind? the intellect? To understand this we should suggest answer to these questions. We all know that there are four fundamental forces in the universe viz., gravitation force, electromagnetic force, weak nuclear force and strong nuclear force. I have written a paper entitled 'Gravitation Force is the Ultimate Creator' and presented it at the 1st International Conference on Revival of Traditional Yoga held in Lonavla Yoga Institute, Lonavla in January 2006. In this paper I have defined soul (individual consciousness), mind and body. According to this every point of action of Gravitational Force Field is individual consciousness or soul, electromagnetic force as the force of mind and weak and strong nuclear force as the gross material force which constitute physical frame of body.
Consciousness is All Intelligent and pervades everywhere. Although all other remaining three forces are also intelligent but they are subordinate to Gravitational Force. THIS DESCRIPTION WILL HELP TO UNDERSTAND 'WHAT IS IT THAT REINCARNATES FROM ONE BODY TO ANOTHER.
According to Buddhism this is not the supreme atman or soul that ties one life to another, instead it talks about past lives as evolvement of consciousness, emergence of a new personality from the same stream of consciousness.
Reincarnation is not an exclusively Eastern precept. It is contained in some form in almost every major religion and mystical philosophy. Research indicates that it was an accepted doctrine, at least in some quarters, at the time of Christ, and is still an integral part of some sects of the Jewish tradition. The Bible contain no condemnation of the principle of reincarnation, and in fact, when Christ was asked when Elijah would return, he answered that Elijah had returned, referring to John the Baptist.
Sakina Yusuf Khan writes in an article A Night Of Forgiveness published in The Speaking Tree: "It (Shab-e-Barat) is also a festival associated with the dead. It is believed that the souls of the dead are set free on this night to visit their relatives." What this indicates? This is a belief in reincarnation, of course in subtle body.
Unaccomplished activities of past lives are also one of the causes for reincarnation. Some of us reincarnate to complete the unfinished tasks of previous birth. The is evident from my own story of reincarnation:
"My most Revered Guru of my previous life His Holiness Maharaj Sahab, 3rd Spiritual Head of Radhasoami Faith had revealed this secret to me during trance like state of mine. This was sort of REVELATION.
HE told me, "Tum Sarkar Sahab Ho" (You are Sarkar Sahab). Sarkar Sahab was one of the most beloved disciple of His Holiness Maharj Sahab. Sarkar Sahab later on became Fourth of Spiritual Head Radhasoami Faith.
Since I don't have any direct realization of it so I can not claim the extent of its correctness. But it seems to be correct. During my previous birth I wanted to sing the song of 'Infinite' (Agam Geet yeh gawan chahoon tumhri mauj nihara, mauj hoi to satguru soami karoon supanth vichara) but I could not do so then since I had to leave the mortal frame at a very early age. But through the unbounded Grace and Mercy of my most Revered Guru that desire of my past birth is being fulfilled now."
I am one the chief expounder and supporter of Gravitation Force Theory of God. This is most scientific and secular theory of God. This is the Theory of Universal Religion. I have given Higher Theory of Everything. Sometimes back I posted this as comments to a blog on:
'Fighting of the Cause of Allah by Governing a Smart Mathematics Based on Islamic Teology'
By Rohedi of Rohedi Laboratories, Indonesia. Rohedi termed my higher theory of everything more wonderful than which has been developed by Stephen Hawking. Some details are quoted below:

Congratulation you have develop the higher theory of everything more wonderful than which has been developed by Stephen Hawking. Hopefully your some views for being considered for Unified Field Theory are recognized by International Science Community, hence I soon read the fundamental aspect proposed by you.
I have posted my comments to the Blog of Syed K. Mirza on Evolutionary Science vs. Creation Theory, and Intellectual Hypocrisy. Syed Mirza seems to be a very liberal muslim. He responded to my comments as mentioned below.
"Many thanks for your very high thought explanations of God.
You said:
"Hence it can be assumed that the Current of Chaitanya (Consciousness) and Gravitational Wave are the two names of the same Supreme Essence (Seed) which has brought forth the entire creation. Hence it can be assumed that the source of current of consciousness and gravitational wave is the same i.e. God or ultimate creator.
(i) Gravitation Force is the Ultimate Creator, Source of Gravitational Wave is God"
Whatever you call it, God is no living God of any religion. Yes, when I call it "Mother Nature" is the God generated from all Natural forces and Gravitational force is the nucleus of all forces or we can presume that Gravitation is the ultimate guiding principle of this Mother Nature we call it non-living God unlike living personal God of religions. I can not believe any personal God would do so much misery created for its creation. Hence, only non-living natural God can explain everything in the Universe. When we think of any living personal God, things do not ad up!"
I have also discovered the mathematical expression for emotional quotient (E.Q.) and for spiritual quotient (S.Q.).
Austrian Scientist Rudolf Steiner says,
"Just as an age was once ready to receive the Copernican theory of the universe, so is our age ready for the idea of reincarnation to be brought into the general consciousness of humanity".

The conflict is very basic: on one side "my religion justifies my actions" and the other side "That is not allowed by the basic law of our land". As has been pointed out elsewhere, the Muslim treatment of the Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh make plain what their real beliefs are. You leave our country or we kill you, maybe we kill you anyway. Happened in Somalia too. Not that the governments did this, no, just good faithful Muslims exercising their rights over non-believers. Anyone believing the manure Puri is shoveling, should remember, this is the BIG lie that Islam puts forth to cover their sins and many of the followers actually believe it. It just doesn't agree with the facts or human nature. If they didn't have oil money, and oil influence, they would still be a backward people. The war over beliefs is being fought in Indonesia and Malaysia, moderates vs hard liners. Watch those countries for the future of Islam.

Russia would benefit greatly by a war in the middle east. They have Europe by the throat with the EU's dependence on the Russian energy pipelines. Anything that drives up the price of oil and therefore gas, will make Russia as rich as China. Can the "we have outgrown war", EU do anything to stop it?

We tend to think all people are just as smart and moral as we are. We see our faults and strengths in others. I think that is wrong headed. We have some real power hungry people in the world, and they game their country's policies to win, regardless of the cost in lives and misery to others. Putin is bent on a place in history and establishing Russia as a world power, but not with nuclear war, rather economic war. It is coming together and he has a strong game. Unfortunately, the US has been outclassed in this game for the last 18 years, maybe 26.

@Anirudh Kumar Satsangi
I am glad you like to write, and you do write a lot, but this is not the time or place to discuss the Hindu belief system. Please reread the article and discuss that topic.
August 22, 2010 8:30 PM
Dear Sparky

Sorry, I have no intention to discuss Hindu belief system. I just wanted to say:

Rebirth and reincarnation in one form or the other has been the bases of all religions. Radhasoami faith guarantees liberation of soul from the cycle of birth and death in maximum four births. All religions have their own views on reincarnation. Effort is to create awareness to bring about objectivity and uniformity with regards to reincarnation and emancipation in all religious groups. It becomes important in view of the fact that Christians and Muslims share about half of the world's population.
