Survival of the Fittest - How Liberals Are Killing Themselves Off

Today I was confronted once again by what Ann Coulter calls "the Austrian efficiency of DMV." She uses that line in several articles, so like me, she's ticked.  The somewhat raspy-voiced female on the other end of the line told me to "call back in 72 hours."  Apparently, that's the official amount of time we have to wait just to find out whether our fax was received.

Could she have simply walked over to the machine in the office and checked for my name, which I had conveniently provided on a cover sheet?  Well, she did, but then she paused, no doubt confronted by a pile of unprocessed fax sheets, and said, "Call back in 72 hours."

Let's give her some credit. She was being as efficient as possible in a system that is, by nature, inefficient, as it is a bureaucracy.  The stress levels she is no doubt experiencing as she fills out the same information multiple times on the same forms is enough stress to separate the fit from the weak in Darwin's system of evolution.

Speaking of Darwinian evolution, an idea emerged after the DMV lady asked in an edgy voice how I had gotten hold of her.  Well, I explained, the last time I called and went through the agonizing process of listening to one list of numbers after another, I finally got the extension I wanted and I saved it, so that the next time I called I could go directly to the office I wanted.  Yes, m'dear, I'm fit.

It occurred to me: are liberals creating the very environmental conditions that will erase their species forever?  It was so elegant, so simple, so beautiful that I wanted to cry right then and there. Of course, I didn't.

But they are killing themselves off. Laura Ingraham could probably relate to my DMV hatred. She talked recently on her radio talk show about "Social Insecurity."  She describes sitting in a Social Security office for a long period of time, only to be told that the office was closing. "That's how Obama health care will be," she remarked; standing in line as if you're waiting at a deli only to be told that "the office is closing, come back tomorrow."  So much for the pain in your side that might be lung cancer - the office is closing!

On the one hand, you might think that people like Hillary and Obama will have to stand in the same line and suffer all the same consequences; but then again, they do have an environmental advantage over all the other species because, God bless them, they have social connections they can use to their advantage.

Don't think for a minute that people like Ingraham and Coulter won't fry our leaders alive for that type of social animalism once it comes to Obamacare.  They will have to stand in line like the rest of us - and die.

Once they do, the survivors can look at recent history and decide whether they want to be liberals or conservatives.  Praise God for natural consequences!

If only Einstein was right, they could mess up this world and then retreat to an alternate universe where the consequences of their policies have no effect, but Einstein's only real contribution was the atomic bomb.  No matter how hard he tried, he was unable to open the door to an alternate universe.  We and they are stuck with the Hiroshimas they make.

If might makes right, we'll see how Right the world becomes after liberals reduce it to utter Chaos with their incompetent and yet unavoidable three-letter agencies.
