The Evil and the Evil

Thinking only globally makes you hate your neighbors.

Your humble correspondent, trawling the depths of the Internet, encountered a discussion chat in which a European citizen was asking Americans for an explanation of our current goings-on.  Every nation has political disputes, said he, and European nations even go without a functioning governmental leadership on occasion, but the actual government bureaucracy never shuts down.  All services used by citizens carry on regardless.

How, he asked, is it possible for a large chunk of America's government to literally shut down, as in the employees going home for weeks on end - and unpaid, at that!

One respondent provided a compelling and thought-provoking answer:  It is because large numbers of ordinary people on both sides of our political divide honestly believe that large numbers of people on the opposite side are literally evil and actively engaged in intentionally destroying the country.  If you believe this, what price is too high to potentially stop them?

Well, when you put it that way, our current politics makes a lot more sense.  But when you sit down and think it through, it makes even more sense... because both sides are correct.

Worlds Apart

Consider the ongoing fight over the Wall. It is indisputably true that many countries in Latin America are among the world's most crime-infested and dangerous places to live.  Every day, people are murdered, raped, tortured, and abused, and that's not even mentioning the suffering due to poverty, malnutrition, lack of health care, and so on.

Thanks be to God, America suffers from none of these problems, at least not to anything like the same degree. If the innocent families murdered in El Salvador by MS-13 were allowed to come here, they wouldn't be murdered, now would they?

But our government won't let them come legally; they must sneak hundreds or thousands of miles through hostile territory, abused by criminals and threatened with dehydration in the desert.  Many never make it; hundreds of bodies are found along our border every year.  If we instead welcomed them with open arms, they wouldn't be dead, now would they?

America, the occasional 1/1024 American Indian aside, is a nation not merely of immigrants, but of people who arrived with little more than the clothes on their backs.  Mr. Trump, and his supporters even more so, want to pull up the drawbridge and restrict entry to those who can afford to fly over it.  Isn't this a major historic change that fundamentally alters the nature of our country?

Our country fought a war to end slavery - often termed as "involuntary servitude."  What sort of morality would use the power of law to force over half our population into direct personal, physical servitude against their will for nine months, followed by another two decades of heavy legal obligations of service to another?  Isn't it evil by definition to strip from women the right to make fundamental life decisions over their own bodies?

The Mirror Image

There is, of course, another perspective.  Much of Latin America is a horrible place to live, true, but so is much of the rest of the world.  What special sufferings do El Salvadorans endure that's different from citizens of Syria, Sudan, and Somalia, to cite only one letter?  Is it just that they're farther away?  What moral difference does that make?

Yet if we allow everyone to come into this country who would like to, it won't be the same country: 150 million people would come here today if they could, almost half our current population, most of whom are dirt-poor and utterly uneducated.  Granting their wish wouldn't bring them wealth, but would merely bring poverty for the rest of us as our economy, infrastructure, society, and culture collapse overnight, benefiting nobody.

Isn't that evil, to steal a country from its citizens?  This is a truth which the Left daily loves to remind us by referencing the American Indians for whom "open borders" didn't turn out very well.

But if we have to draw a line somewhere, what's wrong with drawing it exactly where it already is visible on a map?  That's the way international law has worked for centuries.  Isn't it evil to wantonly cause total upheaval of international systems which, while hardly preventing wars, have at least made them more orderly and clear-cut?

And speaking of the nature of our country, we were founded on the proposition that all men are "endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."  What sort of people want to take viable human beings, not convicted of any crime, and slice them to ribbons simply because their presence is inconvenient?  No opportunity for happiness, liberty, or even life for them!  Isn't that the very definition of evil?

Never The Twain Shall Meet

We could go on in this vein for pages.  No doubt our regular readers will instantly poke holes in many of the inflammatory arguments, but that's the point: each side reflexively dismisses the other side's talking points as obviously wrong and in bad faith, often for good reason.

That's why our politics doesn't work anymore: the two sides are diametrically opposed, there is no common ground anywhere, and nothing to agree on.

If abortion is brutal murder, and the lack of abortion is legalized slavery, what sort of compromise can be found from either direction?

If gun owners are would-be murderers but those who want to confiscate guns are would-be dictators and tyrants, what "common sense" compromise is possible?

The plain truth is, the world is full of evil; it can be found everywhere.  If you think about Big Things at a high enough level, just about everything bad can be blamed on someone very close to home.  Your neighbor bought a new car - isn't that evil, when there are kids starving in Ethiopia?  Oh, and that car emits gasses that will cause flooding and drown thousands in Bangladesh!

The Left likes to say, 'Think globally, act locally."  The past few decades have taught us that if you only think globally, your local actions can't help but be vile, evil, and hateful, because you'll blame your less-enlightened neighbors for not caring about Everything Bad going on everywhere in the world.

But since there will always be something bad going on somewhere, that vicious cycle of blaming your neighbors never stops.  That's why we have countries, states, counties, cities, villages, neighborhoods, streets, and families: Human beings weren't designed to care about everything all at the same time.

We can only truly care about those we can see, interact with, or at least have some perceptible relationship with; the rest of the people are just numbers or political place-holding pawns.  That's why we require our politicians to live in their districts and go back home regularly where they can actually meet their constituents, and you can meet them even when they'd rather you didn't.  That's also why our vast cities tend to be such political cesspools: there simply are too many people for anyone to think of them all as people.  In such environments, governance becomes merely a mechanical numbers game.

If you try to care about the whole world, you'll end up hating everybody close by and wanting to kill them for being evil.  This makes you evil.  Instead, the slogan needs to be "Brighten the corner where you are!"

Until we start focusing on whatever problems we find close to home, where we as individuals might actually be able to do something about them, we'll continue to fly apart.  Forget about global warming - pick up that candy wrapper!

America is a nation of immigrants, yes; but ALWAYS within the guiding rules for such immigration; and we are NOT the world's dumping grounds; every family let in here that lands on our welfare system is STEALING from us; instead their job is to FIX their own nation, not bring their problems here and break our! We aren't the parent/nanny/cop for the world's failed nations. We have problems enough here; people enough who are in need of our help and CAN'T get it because the illegals usurp it first! It's not that we want to pull the drawbridge up; it's that we want people here who are builders and contributors not more takers. As for dying on the journey; that's on them. NO ONE invited them here; they should have stayed home and dealt with their own messes!

Thank you for writing this. People who focus their compassion on those far away do neglect those close to them. This is not a new phenomenon: Dickens wrote about it in Bleak House, where Mrs. Jellyby spends all her time working to help the people in an African country and has no time for her own children or house or husband. She is not a sympathetic character.

It was 1 of Jesus' bones of contention with the Pharisees too; it's actually a very old problem.

I think Milton Friedman said that open borders and a welfare state can’t co-exhist. If you live in Central America and get $1 an hour for some agg job, you’d jump at the chance to go some place where you’d get $15 an hour in welfare benefits . They stream into CA , drop their anchor baby, and enjoy the tax payers bounty. Unfortunately, 3rd worlders can’t become 1st worlders just by sneaking across the border. Apple and JP Morgan haven’t set up recruiting offices on the border to get 3rd world high school drop outs. We should take immigrants. But only those who are prepared to compete in a 1st world economy.

January 30, 2019 11:07 PM

Very likely; that sounds like something he would've said; and rightly so, because it's true. And human nature being what it is, very few will consider the harm done to others for their selfish acts, such as breaking into another nation and stealing from those people for life.
We always have taken in more immigrants than almost any other nation anyway; and should continue to do so; although I do believe we need a moratorium while we deal with the mess open borders have thrust on us, and get our own people helped who are in need; but we should also test and insure we're not importing dangerous criminals, or diseases, and those who can and will assimilate to our culture, and eventually blend into American society as most have done in the past.

the article is well written but can't escape the reality that we can twist almost anything to force the yang/yng of all good has some evil and all evil has some good. As a Christian nation, I don't buy it. A six years old was found dead raped by 30 different men, according to forensics at the border by MS13 gangs. A nation needs a barrier, a wall and some form of contention to prevent illegal immigration. Isolate cases of people suffering in their country only justifies the money we send to help those countries THERE. I am a legal immigrant myself, however, the migrant invasion aims at destroying the US just as the globalists have destroyed Europe. The romantic streets of Paris are now a private latrine for radical Muslims who literally lift up police cars and drop the officers on their heads because no one wants to be islamophobic but it is okay to crucify Christian almost on a daily basis, including children (the press, owned by the globalists won't talk about that). The press will not tell you that the MS13 owes submarines (watch National Geographic report on their subs) How do they got those? Banks, Democrats and even, unbelievably some republicans owes those cartels. How's that for corruption? How do I know? I got involved into doing investigative journalism.

Yeah, there's alwyas two sides to a story and it reminds me of a common remark we hear from some crazy migrants ( Idon't want to mention they were Muslim because I'll be called Islamophobic) who raped children, in this country, and when facing the judge, they all gave the same excuse "Sir, it was an emergency." So, how about the man's emergency for sex? Shouldn't it be taken into consideration?

It is common sense to draw a line but we can only do that if we can distinguish the difference between good and evil, personal stories and an obligation of a nation to first defend its citizens (200 terrorists were aprehended in less than one month crossing the border). Democrats intentionally want to bring American down to force globalism on us. What they do not know is...once American goes down...so will they...and that will be the end of all evil.

thank you for making a good point--whether intentional or not-- it hit the mark...to think we should jeoperdize an entire nation because of the sad story of some crossing the border...they are the first being exploited by the cartel...crossing the border is not a solution for anyone because the world is filled with evil...who should we permit and who should we prevent coming? That is why nations have laws

Elizabeth, welcome to my homeland and thank-you for coming to be an American. My ancestors helped free this land from England's king; and have continued defending the freedom they fought for since, down to and including my sister and I who served in our times. Immigrants who come here legally generally want to be Americans, not just live here and benefit from Americans' labors. We've always welcomed that, and will continue to do so.
But, as you observed, this invasion that's been ongoing for the past 40 and more years, increasingly, is about destroying America and all she's been, not people coming here to be Americans and build America! That is globalism; and the end goal of that is to kill off something between 6.5 and 7 Billion people around the world; and set up a feudal type tyrannical system. Too bad those "useful idiots" in our Congress, and other top slots don't know they aren't to be any part of that top tier of survivors; if they're kept at all, they'll be serfs too; but I doubt most of them will be that even.
I'm very aware of the changes in Europe, Africa and Asia. My Dad was an international airline pilot with a home movie hobby, so he filmed all the nations he visited and brought us up seeing those. I've also seen the streets of Paris before the Muslims were admitted and what's happened to them. It's heartbreaking. The more so, because it was INTENTIONAL! Those responsible will be held to account for their evil.

January 31, 2019 2:21 PM

You made my day Sandra. It is so refreshing to know that not only the people who write about what is going on but the people, like you and me, who live and honor this land, know what is in the near future. You said it so well " in our Congress, and other top slots don't know they aren't to be any part of that top tier of survivors; if they're kept at all, they'll be serfs too; but I doubt most of them will be that even".

I heard of a popular saying "when one dances with the devil, sooner or later the music stops".

I don't apologize for being a Christian. Ours is a Christian nation and you are absolutely right, if someone wants to come here illegally we must ask the question, why would anyone want to conceal their identity and come here illegally, except to either do us harm or in dare conditions (which can't be helped by crossing border of other countries).

As a Christian, I ask whether we are going to be raptured before this slaughter takes place (I sure hope so), but I also ask of people who has knowledge and good communication skills to contact 'certain' congress representatives (not all of them) even if it means to get an address from a relative or friend, in case the representative is not in you district and press on, let them know we need and want this wall.

Their evil is so despicable, as you said, because it is intentional. There's one thing though we all should be aware of: they believe in a religion called cabal and if they say what they are going to to, then they will not receive a karma back for their actions (wait until they face judgment day)....so, just as we saw the Rockefeller pose with his watch marked 9/11 when was not even close to 9/11 you can see the cartoons telling us about the FEMA camps.

On the subject: I'm astonished with people crossing the border with their flags: this is an invasion. When I came here (legally) I wanted to learn about American History, American manners, Ways of thinking. I even studied how congress and the voting system worked (never quite understood because it is complicated, but I had the good intentions to assimilate). If you are coming here and hate Americans, go somewhere else! If a person hates English, patriotism, Christianity, rather than we destroy our nation because of criminals, let them go somewhere else. I, personally, can't think of living anywhere else and have done investigative journalism (not my career) for about two years to help the nation that gave me so much.
Anyone that is not a proud American, should get out of here and that includes the criminals in Congress. That is my take. And thank you for your comments. Let's pray without ceasing to bring Mueller and others subject to Obama to justice.

The differences between the left and right are simply irreconcilable. When neither side will agree to recognize and accept the decision of a higher authority, peaceful options no longer exist. It's becoming very difficult to picture a positive outcome.

February 1, 2019 11:29 PM

This is well said Fred because, afater all, even the judicial code in Western societies is based on the laws of God and when we remove our creator, we are left walking in blindness and, as you said, there's no conciliation or reconciliation (for the ones who read my previous comments, please accept my apologies for typos and grammar errors... Unfortunately, I didn't not edit my comments, sorry)

February 2, 2019 1:45 PM

Fred, the differences between the majority of the left and a very significant portion of the right as well are negligible; there is an uniparty inside the DC beltway; they vote for the same agenda. The differences outside DC, are more visible, but also reasonably negligible since the ones in DC run the show. The difference is that the left wants votes and the "right" there wants cheap labor; it's a "marriage made in hell", if you will. Both sides win and America and her citizens LOSE!

This is so true, Sandra. I'm grateful that scragged offers a board for communication.
All the globalists (and frankly I didn't know that they are aware they are serving lucifer but deep into the organization whistleblower had revealed that they have comitted themselves to the Luciferian regimen....and all of this seems so surreal that if not for the reputable names of the people who had leaked info and documents I would think this to be a dream)

Here is an exert of what happens in the Council of Foreign Relations:

Before they left the training of the CFR, these young leaders assumed labels that they would wear for the rest of their lives, and by which they would be known by the voting public. Some of them would be known as Liberals, and some as Conservatives. Some would be known as Democrat and some as Republican. Some would be known as Liberal Democrat or Liberal Republican, and some as Conservative Democrat or Conservative Republican. While they would agree to strongly fight each other on many issues, they would cooperate whenever the issue was critical to the success of the New World Order Plan.

A good example of this cooperation was the NAFTA agreement, which economically combined the United States, Canada, and Mexico. If ever there was an issue which should have been opposed by every Conservative in America, NAFTA was that issue. Yet, when President Bush began to push for NAFTA, and when President Clinton continued that push, Conservative leaders from both parties supported the issue. Many analysts were absolutely shocked that Conservatives were supporting such a treaty, when its political and economic tenets were so diametrically opposed to the values of Conservatives. Paramount among these violated tenets was the issue of the surrender of National Sovereignty. Further, Democrats would normally have opposed such an economic reorganization because the unions would have rightfully feared the loss of jobs. This was a great opportunity for the Democrats to demonstrate that they were really out for the good of the little guy.

They had engineered wars with the help of the Deep State and the iNdustrial Complex and had participated and started many of the sex traffic industry and the control of Cartels.

I'd say we must pray, this is a must for all of us to save our nation and many of us, if not all could send emails to congress people (only the ones who support a conservative agenda to avoid becoming a target of the democrats). After all, without votes, they are out of the office and to make sure, dead people only seem to vote democrats (95,000 just discovered in California...all voted...democrat! Huh).

I didn't mean to buzz in, but saw an opportunity to post a bit of information that may be of interest to this community. To know where the traitors are (at least one of the ways is to find out if s/he is a member of the CFR).

Nevertheless, I do believe that there are still many or some decent people in the republican party and who knows even some in the democratic party. We know that some republicans stood up to do what is right regarding Mueller's investigation.

May I suggest we pray without ceasing? I know I am. Thank you for hte opportunity of sharing the news and a bit of my opinion as well.

Elizabeth and Fred, both: If you haven't yet done so, read UN Agendas 21 and 2030; check out the documentation on stopthenorthamericanunion.com (from which both NAFTA and USMCA are derived), and Codex Alimentarius (based on the WHO/UN food management); be sure to take any heart or blood pressure meds before you start! Then read the prophecies especially in Daniel, Ezekiel, and Isaiah, and the book of the Revelation. Once you've done that, pretty much everything going on today makes sense, albeit in a very SICK way. This is, indeed, Lucifer's plan; it always has been. But it will offer you the hope and comfort of knowing, if not exactly when, HOW it will all fall out and finish.
Elizabeth, in answer to your question, I believe the rapture must come either before or very soon after the revelation of the man of perdition (anti-Christ) for who he is; we already know his name, I"m sure, indeed, the world knows his name, they just don't know him as that role. I base that on the fact that the 7 years to follow his revelation in that role is the time of God's judgment on the world; and the Church is NOT appointed to judgment, ours having been completed at Calvary and in the garden tomb, 2,000 years ago. Also, we have to be "gone" in order to return behind Jesus for the battle at Har Megiddo (Armageddon).
Every evil we see today is not new; we are at that point Jesus spoke of "as it was in the days of Noah" in every possible way. Solomon got that right when he stated there was "nothing new under the sun".
Another resource to read is the Book of Enoch; Noah's great grandfather wrote a book which he made sure his son passed on to his grandson so that it would survive the flood. Read it as amplification of the portion of Genesis explaining the reasons for that flood and why God did so then; as well as of what is yet to come on the Earth now. Don't read it as "scripture" just the observations of a Godly man who was there to see and record what he saw.
I don't yet know why, and particularly why ME, but for most of my life, God has been dropping bits and pieces of information into my mind; insights, something I read or hear or see; like dropping pieces of a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, onto a table, without a pattern as to how they were supposed to fit together, or what the "picture" should be. That went on for decades, literally; then about a decade ago, He gave me the key piece and the rest fell into place; there were still gaps, but enough to see the whole for what it was meant to be. Since then, the gaps have been being rapidly filled in too. I do know this iteration of Lucifer's plan goes back to the mid 1500s and the inner core of it around him are the Jesuits, the Freemasons, and the banking families of Europe, particularly the Rothschilds, but others too were brought in. If you weren't aware of it, Pope Francis is a Jesuit. He was also raised in Juan Peron's Argentina (nothing like Evita, the musical)! A more perfect man to lead the coalescing into, and then head the 1 world religion that Satan is wanting established to worship himself, I can't possibly imagine. That would be the role of the "False Prophet".
There are some Catholic prophecies and some Muslim prophecies that are pertinent to what is happening now, not to be viewed as the prophecies from God Almighty, but they do speak to parts of God's Word on the subject, and have value in that respect.
Have a blessed Sunday and week both of you.

February 3, 2019 3:09 PM

All that you said is true Sandra. I'm going to visit stopthenorthamericanunion.com

I'm familiar with agenda 21. Matter of fact, I don't know if I can paste a link here but out of the pages of NASA itself (and that goes on what the globalist believe that if they tell what they are about to do they will not suffer karma) so , out of their page they stated (NASA) soemthing that I still can't comprehend. ..they said that humans are too slow and expensive and that they either need to be modified (A Chinese or was it Japanese doctor had edited the DNA of 2 babies before placing inside the mother's womb?) or killed. It sounds like a joke, but it is there.

Anyhow, it gives me comfort to know we are going to be raptured first. To be honest, I can't think of anything else because I know about agenda 21. I am terrified.

February 3, 2019 5:24 PM

It was a Chinese doctor who did that. I saw that too. We have USMCA that is NAFTA on steroids; it still has all the UN provisions, including admiralty (maritime) law, and adds in a lot of protections for "transexuals" that will trample on the 1st A rights of the majority of Americans. It's no "deal", like Trump is claiming! ALL that changed was the trade portion.
Be afraid of the one who can destroy your soul, not his minions; and remember God has your back.
